The machines and appliances used at Ecover differ very little from those that are commonly used in this sector of business. However, we keep our energy and water consumption levels low by opting for low-speed appliances and aiming for flexible machines and set-ups that can be quickly adjusted to meet changing circumstances, using techniques that do not require cleansing with water. For example, the main filling machine contains a gadget that squeezes any product remnants so efficiently from the pipes that they do not need to be rinsed with water afterwards.
